CTAE Clubs are known as Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs). Unlike other clubs at the high school level, these clubs are co-curricular, which means the activities participated in by the CTSOs are directly related to the curriculum students learn in classes. These clubs participate in many events throughout the school year, and compete on the region, state, and national levels. Joining a CTSO will not only get a student connected for their high school journey, it will also help students reach a high level of success in any Career Pathway they choose.
The Career Technical Instruction (CTI) support service is designed to support students with disabilities enrolled in a CTAE programs. The goal of the secondary (grades 9-12) level services are to provide these students with job-entry skills at the completion of the CTAE experience. The role of the career technical instruction coordinator is to provide resource assistance to students with disabilities served under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) in the CTAE cluster and to coordinate the services needed for the learner to acquire his/her goal of job placement.

Founded in 1928, the former "Future Farmers of America" brought together students, teachers and agribusiness to solidify support for agricultural education. The name of the organization was changed to the National FFA Organization in 1988 to reflect the growing diversity of agriculture. Today, more than 650,000 student members are engaged in a wide range of agricultural education activities. Opportunities for competition in FFA range from Landscape Horticulture to Animal Science and Mechanical Related Career Development Events or CDE’s. There are also many opportunities in Leadership CDE’s such as Prepared Public Speaking, Parliamentary Procedure, and Proficiency Applications related to your area of interest in Agriculture. Last year National FFA gave out over $2.5 million in scholarship monies to FFA members pursuing various endeavors above the high school level, many of which outside of the Agricultural Field.
